RELEASE DETAILS
Monica da Silva released her debut solo album in January 2007. "Miles From Nowhere” was a collaboration between da Silva, and Chicago-based guitarist Brett Ratner.
The album was engineered, produced, and mixed at Rax Trax Recording in Chicago, by Grammy-nominated record producer Rick Barnes (Ok Go, Los Lonely Boys, George Clinton, Smashing Pumpkins, Rachael Yamagata).
Da Silva’s debut album is a collection of catchy, guitar-driven Pop and Rock songs, with undertones of Electronica. Many of the tracks from the album have been featured on national and international TV shows.
